Apache configuration?

I have running Apatche server and when I use http://localhost it shows me test page which means it is running. Now I have to deply my web site so let me know where should I place it and what kind of configuration I have to make?

You have to allow access to your network if your behind any type of router or firewall.. forwarding http port 80 requests to this machine. If you want a domain, well, register one and then setup your DNS to point to your machines IP, or you can simply just use your IP this machine has.

I have configured and am able to view html files but unable to view .asp pages. I don't know the compatibility of .asp pages on Mozilla RH9? It is just diplaying its text.
