I recently installed anydesk in Slackware64-current and it works for me.
The dependencies pangox-compat (0.0.2) and lsb-release (1.4) were installed using the SlackBuilds from SlackBuilds.org. The dependency gtkglext (1.2.0) was installed using the SlackBuild from https://github.com/Ponce/slackbuilds which has been recently updated with patches for GCC-8.
At startup, I see these messages:
Code:
(anydesk:2510): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 11:17:34.129: IA__gtk_widget_set_tooltip_markup: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

(anydesk:2510): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 11:17:34.134: IA__gtk_widget_set_tooltip_markup: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

(anydesk:2510): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 11:17:34.141: IA__gtk_signal_connect_full: assertion 'GTK_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
sh: lspci: command not found
The last message is eliminated if you run 'export PATH=$PATH:/sbin' prior to running anydesk.
At shutdown, the 'double free or corruption (fasttop)' message appears but I am not concerned about that.

Still using the same build on Slackware64-current without issue in operation. It was battle tested during COVID lockdowns. The location in my profile earned the dubious honour of most locked down city. IMHO the errors can be safely ignored.
