I tried those commands (substituting nagioscmd with nagios) and it worked!

I now have the nagios map and histogram!

If you look at the configuration.log I had you post, I was looking to see if it found libpng, and libgd.

[CODE]checking for gdImagePng in -lgd (order 2)... yes
GD library was found!
[\CODE]

As you can see it did.

Hi,

Now i've got the installation of Nagios working I was wondering whether anyone would be able to assist me with a baseline setup that I can build upon? Alot of the sample cfg files seem to be missing and I'm struggling to get things going.

Groups
Linux-Servers
Windows-Servers
Switches
Routers

Services
Load Average
CPU Usage
Memory Usage
Temperatures
PING
HTTP
VPN UP

Notifications
Three email addresses to be notified on all errors.

I would be willing to offer financial benefit for anyone who can help with this. Thanks.

i can assist, but i wont do it all for you.....and i do not want any payment
