Any messenger replaceble for myspaceim

Hi there
I have kopete and Gaim Instant Messenger. I would like to know if it is possible to use them for chatting with a friend which has an account to myspace.org Unfortunately a linux version of myspaceim is not available in the organization.
Any ideas?

Could u please give any instruction on how to install that.I downloaded msimprpl-20070505.tar.gz but i didnt manage to install it. I also had a look to its readmes but i didnt find help
I would be obliged if u could help me

i have no idea about any special measures needed for this plugin, but if it's like other tar.gz distributed software, then it will be similar to standard procedures as detailed in our tutorial section, or any number of google results.
