anjuta crash

for the first time ever i managed to get anjuta compiled and installed on my system but now when i start it a box comes up and says it crashed and i should send a bug report to gnome and so on... well i started it through a terminal and saw that it generates a whole bunch of errors but mainly it couldn't find any of the pixmaps like the splash screen and so onso i checked the path it was looking in and they are there and i even changed perms to them so anyone could read them but it still wont find them, there are some other problems with not finding or not being able to read libglade files later also but they are also there so i think the problems are related somehow... maybe a linking issue?
