amarok progressbar time elapsed problem


I am using amarok 1.2.3 with kde 3.4. the progressbar does not move(remains at initial position). Time elapsed is also 0:00. I have posted a bug report at
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103804
has anybody else had this problem???
