No. Tell us about your Hardware (inxi etc; strace xev) OS: Deb updated to 11.5 I assume.
i am running debian bullseye on android
userland app (1). i didnt install much. i am
using twm for window manager. debugging
tools (strace) are not possible for my present
setup. i am using hackers keyboard app (fdroid).
all other keys are working.
Do you have: xinput list; xinput list-props <id# of *each* of keyboards> ?
IDK anything about that app. Would it be easy for others to get and run it?
Oh, your Hardware is not a PC but an Android device?
Maybe that userland app doesn't give you access to the actual key-press codes, but instead what you get from a read: a single byte! http://alt-codes.net
This is significant information that should be clearly stated in the first post of any thread you create regarding this system.

*ALL* other keys - so xev shows the Press and Release events for other modifier keys like Shift_L, Shift_R, and Super?
Maybe find a keyboard monitor (xev-equivalent) for the Android side to confirm Hacker's Keyboard is sending the correct codes for all keys (it probably is, but helps to rule it out).
