alien in fedora


I googled and found that 'alien' can conver a debian package to fedora rpm ....

1) Is it correct ? if so ,how can i install alien ? yum fails for me .

2) Is there anyother tool ?

I have installed alien through different releases of Fedora and I have never experienced problems. The compilation is clean and straightforward. You can download the source code here.
