AdobeReader 7 Failed dependencies

I have attempted to load AdobeReader 7 on my Mandriva machine and I keep getting this error:

#rpm -Uvh AdobeReader_enu-7.0.5-1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libstdc++.so.5 is needed by AdobeReader_enu-7.0.5-1
libstdc++.so.5(CXXABI_1.2) is needed by AdobeReader_enu-7.0.5-1
libstdc++.so.5(GLIBCPP_3.2) is needed by AdobeReader_enu-7.0.5-1

I found that yum has updates, but the directions are not very clear. A lot of assumptions are made that the reader is very familiar with the process. I am not particular about using yum, anything suggested is okay with me. I am and I will need easy specific instructions. You help is appreciated.

Thanks
