A P2P suggestion


Hello!

I would like to know if there is any solution to use in fedora core 4 some dc++ with multisourcing like strongdc++ or rmdc++ for windows?
if not.. could any1 help me to emulate this applications?

If you are looking for a p2p program try apollon, connects to 3-4 networks

dc++ works extremely well under wine. I would guess that goes for its forks as well. The only thing to remember is to turn off the progress bars in the transfer windows as that can crash wine sometimes.
And to those who suggested the other clients: none of them connects to dc hubs. It's like comparing apples and oranges, and nothing that I've seen beats dc++ for faster connections (10mbit+).

rpz but dc++ doesn't have multisourcing... so it sucks =/ slow downloads.. i can't load rmdc++ with wine.. it blocks at the start logo... don't u know any dc++ solution that works with wine supporting multisourcing?

Well the speed of dc++ really depends... I get 1MB/sec+ with it, that's enough for me at least. Anyway, They are all based on DC++ aren't they? Try removing all the extra features (by hand-editing the XML file), including the startup logo if possible. Also try a "fresh" installation, not the one with your old queue etc.
