I have been trying to make my K menu larger and make my application submenu larger ( I want it to include abiword and xemacs and so on)
I was told to try [ kappfinder ], and when I typed it I had an error message that told me the the command does not exist?
I found this command in the KDE help center!!!
Thats all, I only want to know how to make these applications appeas in the APPLICATION submenu.
You can add programs to your kmenu by right clicking the 'k' and choosing menu editor. Right click on the desired category, then choose 'add item' and type the path to the program in the 'command' box.

I also can't find most of the installed applications on my main menu, the K-Menu
I mean want to see these apllications on the ain menu.
I was on RH 7.2 and the K menu had these items but after upgrading to 7.3 I did not find them there, abiword and xeacs for instance. Why is that?
Also, I want to know that all programs I have has their icons in the main menu so I can use them. I am new to linux and as you know I may have something that I am not aware of its existence unless I can see it and try it.
