8.0 installation

Im trying to install RH8.0. It rapidly installs 9 packages and then stops. It's trying to install bzip2-
libs-1.0.2-5 when it stops. The CD drive becomes unresponsive and won't even
let me eject the CD. This is repeatable every time. Its always package 9 when
the installation stops. I tested the installation cds with linux mediacheck boot option and all passed. What should I do to install?

well, what does your message console say? press:

CTRL+ALT+F3
CTRL+ALT+F4

do u have a spare cd rom drive that u can try so u can rule out h/w problem?
