3d in Linux ?


Is there any 3d software in Linux ? Games essentially, but also stuff to see movies in 3d etc.

for games, check www.happypenguin.org, is quite nice. For 3D movies, i really don't know....I don't think is supported under linux, but i'm not an experft either

Nice site, thank you.

I didn't look everything, but it seams to me a 3d simulation. I rather meant a "real" 3d, i.e. involving special glasses.

can anyone recommend a 3-d video card?...want to to try one of those 3d desktops....just don't know if my box will handle it....hey guys...a 3D card with linux drivers?? anyone???

will my gforce2 work?

yeah, your Geforce will work fine. Nvidia has some pretty decent Linux drivers.

I've got an nVidia Geforce2 on one of my Mandrake boxes. Works like a charn.
