ok so i built myself a high performance rig and i'm having a hard time getting it to work under windows or ubuntu. i would like to install the ati drivers for my card and not the fglrx because got them to work on my last installation of ubuntu but i can't get them to work on this one for some reason. and there was a very annoying problem of the screen constantly flickering and being very annoying so i would like to avoid this by just installing the ati drivers. also last time i posted this i only got a link to another site i really cant get the drivers to install the .run file just won't run even with all the programs specified to have in the installation manual on the ati site. so now i have no driver and no graphics any help would be much appriciated

i avtually just got the ati drivers to install and i discovered that they won't activate. they arn't showing up under the restricted drivers manager and i don't know how to activate the drivers any help would be sweet
