2.6.4 + which patch + smt??

i heard about something called 2.6.4-love1, and decided to check it out. i'm now totally confused.

i have a p4 2.4C (HT)

what patches can/should i be using with the 2.6.4 kernel? i'd like to know how to apply the mm1/ck/love patches properly. any links? my googling has left me googled!

also, what is smt? i read it has something to do with HT, and is experimental. is it mm1 that has this feature?

how can i go about compiling a 2.6.4 kernel with the optimal patch and this smt?

thanx
