Web based download manager

I'm looking for a web based, preferably with ajax functionality, download manager that can run on my data server providing the ability to fetch http, https, and ftp hosted files. The intention is to be able to start downloads remotely to my data server that can then be run unmonitored in a manageable web interface.

Has anyone else found/used such a thing?

Ummm...

Are you sending data TO your server? Or FROM it? Saying "download" implies FROM it, but your context implies TO it.

If you mean uploading to your server, you might want to take a look at dmxzone.com. Check out incPureUpload.php and the matching .js script.

Well, not either, actually. Or both, if you want to look at it a different way. What I want to do is get a URL, either http, https, or ftp, and have it downloaded from the internet to my server. Think of it as downloading your next install CDs via a web interface directly to your data server. While you sleep. Or at work. Similar to a web front end to wget. torrentfux-b4rt offers some of this functionality as it offers a front end to wget but not all and its a bit more than I'm looking for (in the torrent front). I don't think the php script you mentioned does this.
