VSFTPD login failed

hi to all, i m trying to use VSFTPD, but it is failed to login of local users, i did tried to login on localhost, it become login successfully on localhost, but taking much delay to login. and login become fail from remote computer.
this is text of "vsftpd.conf"
please guide me, how to resolve this issue.

I suspect something is blocking the traffic between the server and the remote. Do you know if the server has a firewall running? Is there any hardware like a router between the remote computer and the server?

thanks for reply,
firewall and selinux ...both are disabled...
vsftpd is working for anonymous user but when i disable anonymous by anonymous_enable=NO...VSFTPD did disabled authentication of local users...i think there is some issue with login authentication...but my SAMBA is working fine in with windows machine network.

This is a good clue as it means that there likely isn't a problem in the connections between the client and server.

Just as a test, comment out everything here except the chroot_local_users=YES. I'm wondering if this is somehow messing with the login, and maybe the user list is causing a problem.

Also, posting the messages you get when logins fail would be helpful. It is possible PAM is choking on something. Finally, have a look in your log files and see if there are any more clues from vsftpd.
