Using DHCPD to identify Windows XP hosts on the network

Hello all,

I am looking to do this in my instance if ISC DHCPD (V. 3.1.3):

http://blog.sesse.net/blog/tech/2014..._in_dhcpd_conf

I tried the example in the page and it fails on the ~~ part. Does anyone with more experience know what it should be? (I tried =~ and that didn't work)

Figured out it has to do with the older version of DHCPD that we have on our servers (Plan is to upgrade the system in the summer). Can anyone think of a workaround?
