User Acvite Directory want logon FTP server Ubuntu (VSFTP)


Hi everyone!
I have a problem vsftpd on ubuntu 11.10
I install vsftpd on ubuntu successful. and i cofig files
/etc/vsftpd.conf
...
local_root=/var/www/$USER
...
I try logon with user local successful results.But I logon with user AD encounter the following message
500 00PS: cannot change home directory: /var/www/HANOI\administrator
my domain name: HANOI.ORG
user logon: Administrator
I use likewise-open5 with join domain
anyone help me!

I don' know open-likewise, but as a quick guess I'd say your user :

1: has no rights on the DIR /var/www/HANOI\administrator or it doesn't exist .
2: the user does not exist as local or samba or ftp user (or not in the right group maybe) .

Also the "HANOI\administrator" looks strange . Smells like the domain user HANOI\administrator is not translated correctly to a samba user.
