Unable to authenticate Smtp server in Mail Evolution
Dear all,
I have configure the postfix server on my local machine and i am able to send the email to the user that i have created on my local machine but when i configured mail evolution i get smtp authetication error. Can you tell me the solution of this problem.Thankyou

Since you don't give any details, you either have the wrong name/password combination, you don't have postfix listening for incoming connections, or your firewall is blocking things.

Can you tell me how to make postfix listening for incoming connection.
Have you configured postfix for smtp authentication? If it is, then you will need to configure evolution for the same as well. Check for the configurations at both the ends.
