I recently installed ubunutu server 10.04 on a desktop computer. This server will have the following components:
LAMP server
Mail server
OpenSSH sever
Okay, so now that the server is completed and ready to go, I would like to know how I can connect a workstation (Lucid Lynx 10.04) to that server. I am interested in running Drupal and if it is possible to use the server to achieve this? I am new, so please help.
No, you don't have to install lamp on the workstation. You have to access your server through a web browser.
Probably you need to configure additional settings on your LAMP+MAIL server.
Ubuntu 10.04 has reached its end of life and is not supported anymore, which means that you won't get any security updates and bugfixes for it. It is strongly recommended to upgrade your system to a supported version, for example 12.04 LTS (supported until 2017) or the recently released 13.04 (9 months support).
