Ubuntu F.Fawn-> EMail/Groupware Server setup Q

I'm currently testing out Feisty Fawn with the perfect server setup guide.

http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_ubuntu704

Problem is, I just want to setup an email server, which I would then setup Simple-Groupware and Funambol. As this is an internal server do I need to setup Bind DNS server? Our company uses W2K3 for ADS, DNS and File Server.

I found another guide that fits my needs but its meant for Edgy Eft

http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual_po...er_ubuntu_edgy

In this version Quota is patched to Postfix and Courier authenticates with authmodulelist="authmysql", complete with MySQL setups for creating users and domains. But the Feisty Fawn guide version uses authmodulelist="authpam",and little else is mentioned. What's the difference? Can I cross reference these two guides and how do I make the configurations fit??

It's really confusing, my competence level in Linux is a small notch up from newbie. Can anyone help? Thank You

Setup successful...but

Ok, I've setup ISPConfig, Webadmin, even the courier webadmin ... it's leaving me clueless.

How do I setup email accounts? Where do I set them..in Postfix, or in Courier?

I think I've setup SpamAssasin both in ISPConfig and Webadmin... and each resides in its own directory. I'm getting a huge question mark..and a headache. Can anyone enlightment me on what I'm doing?

Thanks for the link, but I still have no idea how to create user mailboxes.

Check /var/log/mail - mailboxes are automatically created for every user that has an account on the computer/server. Names can be mapped to e-mail addresses as specified in the link posted in my previous post (edit /etc/alias).
