Troubleshoot anaconda/kickstarter

Im trying to upgrade a network appliance that is using centos (to centos 5.7), the vendor has really shity support so im trying to figure out myself what the problem is. Basicly you run a script from the vendor that is copying a iso file to a parition, then it is modyfing the grub and you boot up and it is pointing to a ks file.
When im trying to boot up on the new installation through grub, i get a error that is saying:

"The partition table on Device sda (Adaptec Raid5 19000 mb) was unreadable. To create new partitions, it must be initialized, causing the loss of ALL DATA on the drive.
Would you like to initialize this drive?"

Is there any way to edit the ks.cfg and create a debug log?
