TFTP


Hi,

How to configure TFTP in secure mode. Please give a links or how to do it

I am not sure what you mean. Have you read the linked article?

You simply create a directory and configure the tftp server to use it.

Tftp configuration is likely in /etc/inetd.conf, but may vary by your distribution.

Actually i want to share the root directory instead of tftpboot directory that is also without using -s option in tftp Server.If possible please tell me how

Posting the same question three times doesn't get your answer any quicker. And if you're in such a hurry, you should try Google. It tells you that you can specify those options in the /etc/xinetd.d/tftp file. Otherwise, you must specify the "-s" manually.

And attempting to share the root directory over tftp is a spectacularly BAD IDEA
