If you want help you need to provide information. What happens when you try to? Are there error messages?? And why are you using telnet at all? It's horrible and obsolete, use ssh instead wherever possible.
explain again what you can and acan not do. you very clearly say "i can telnet from sco server to linux" yet want to *enable* the linux service? This makes no sense.
