Well, without some kind of error logs or a little diagnostic information from you, it's going to be real hard to determine what caused your sshd daemon to die. Just a wild, completely irrelavent guess, but I'd say
this is probably the root cause.
Please do the following (next time this "crash" thing happens).
1) "
uptime", then give us the output.
2) "
dmesg" and give us the output.
3) /whatever/syslog/logs/to: browse through it and give us the relavent chunks.
4) Maybe if you see an error you maybe take a google at it and see if there's already a solution?
