squid problem


Greetings to All Memembers,
I just configure squid now Im having a certain issues like for testing ive allowed my one of my client 10.2.1.1 to access only www.google.com and www.yahoo.com and block all other websites.

here are the rule ive define

Code:
acl myweb www.google.com www.yahoo.com
acl test src 10.2.1.1
http_access allow test myweb
http_access deny test
Now what I can see when I open yahoo.com the page load abnormaly bymean of that it does not load complete pages some of images/links does not appear .

2nd thing is that how many deos squid acl support ive xeon with 2ghz and 2gb of ram .

Hi,

Can you first try to make ACL that will simply ALLOW some IP to use INTERNET. So no restrictions at all.
Then when you check if that works you can move on with trouble shooting.


And post all your squid conf file otherwise we cant help.
