squid log with system id


hi..

i am using squid proxy server for internet sharing
all the internet usage details are store in /var/log/squid/access.log
in that log i am able to get system ip those who are all access internet
in same way i want want system id (system name) also how to do that can any one he me

Try to add some Systems and their IP addresses in /etc/hosts file.
Restart squid and check logs.
Tell us if it resolved your issue.

i have added all the ips and system names in the /etc/hosts
how can i see the system names are stored in squid log (/etc/squid/access.log)
