Squid 3.3.8 dstdom_regex Skype

Hello,

I would like to ask if Squid 3.3.8 supports the following acl configuration:
acl numeric_IPs dstdom_regex ^(([0-9]+.[0-9]+.[0-9]+.[0-9]+)|([([0-9af]+)?

[0-9af:]+)?

[0-9af]+)?])):443
acl Skype_UA browser ^Skype

I am trying to configure Skype via squid and for some reason it is not working. I am wondering if this is related to the squid version

squid is http proxy and squid does not understand https. what are you goind to configure?

Hi,

My target is to force Skype to go through proxy (squid) and to block the direct connection to the internet.

squi is http proxy server it can not block connection to skype servers, instead you have to configure your gateway to block access you can do it with iptables.

Hello,

My target is not to block but to ALLOW skype to go through the proxy as I am blocking all of the traffic on the firewall...

why yous whant skype traffic through proxy? what should it filter or cache?
