Hi, I've a server with Vesta CP that uses Apache and nginx as reverse proxy for static content but it takes nearly a second to reply GET request despite there is nobody connected, it is normal and how could I improve it ?

Thanks

Please take into account the specs of the system itself, do analyse each subsystem separately and take care particularly where static content is loaded from. (For example some CMS software doesn't really pull static content from disk but from the database.) Then present more detailed information which may help us help you?

Hi, the system is Debian Wheezy and static content is loaded from disk. Often mysqld process takes up to 200% cpu, is that normal ?

Thanks

Now it could be a language barrier or something but that's not what I asked for: I asked you to analyse your system in detail and present more detailed information. Then again, as with some of your previous threads (for example here, here and here) it seems you commonly post terse information and leave threads dangling without providing more. If you're not a technical or analytical person that's OK but then you should say so and even then (as you run a server) you should be able to tell us at least what software you're running, what performance tuning was done, how you tested your setup. Also note PHP, MySQL and most software you run do come with documentation which almost invariably includes a troubleshooting and performance section. So there's really no valid reason not to dig in, read and try. OK?
