SLES 11 extend disk

Hi all,

I want to expand an existing devices space in my Linux SLES 11 vm.

I took the following steps so far:

- Shutdown the vm
- increase the hard disk space
- power on the vm
- df -h

SUSE:~ # df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda2 39G 32G 4.8G 87% /
devtmpfs 998M 92K 997M 1% /dev
tmpfs 998M 521M 478M 53% /dev/shm

I am not sure what to do next, i am not an administrator, so i have to be careful not to screw up the vm.

If anyone can provide the additional steps that would be really useful.

Many thanks.
