Post Sharing specific folder or file in apache server

hello,

can anyone plz help me how I can share my apache webpage folder/file
in the network that all the user in network can see my webpage ?

Problem :

I installed the apache web server and configured it after. In configuration I put my webpage(index.html) in specific folder(var/www/html/localhost.domain/index.html). when I use http://localhost/ than my webpage is running. But when I use same URL
from other computer of the same network this webpage is not running.
That means may/might be I have to share this webpage folder ---------- or ------------------ ! ! !

A solution will be helpful and highly appreciated.

Tahnk you indeed.

A computer normally has 2 IP address: One is 127.0.0.1 - called loopback interface, another is an IP to join in LAN (192.168.1.xxx or something like that). The hostname "localhost" is translated to 127.0.0.1 by default. When you stay at web server and type localhost, the computer will access to the web server installed inside itself. But assume that you stay at another computer and type localhost, means "127.0.0.1", which refers to THAT computer. Because THAT computer has no web server, your query will fail in certain.

The fastest and simplest way for you is access your web browser with a LAN IP. The better way is setting up a DNS server in your network, which is more complicated. I recommend you try the first solution, learn some more about basic networking, and try the second one.

Have fun .
