Sendmail - how to control relays

Hello,

We have a sendmail server running on CentOS 5 that relays from a web server to a mail server at our regional office.

We're seeing a lot of spams getting frozen in the queue. The good news is that they're frozen but for some reason our server seems to queue them rather than reject them outright.

What should be the first things to check?

Never mind - found the answer. We were set to relay for all email addresses under our domain and the problem was that the spammers would email from a fake address to get relay access.
