The IP is easy enough to log. Speed MAY be something you can record, or possibly not, depending on what you are using.
You do not mention what FTP service you are running, so no specific advice can be given. In general, every server has a way to turn on logging. Often you can record certain parameters for the transfer logging, but not all allow you to record average speed. At the least, you should be able to get the login name and source address (though there are ways to spoof the IP).
Check your man pages. Also, read the notes in the config files for your software.
Perhaps if you can provide enough information to support a more directed answer. At a minimum, what ftp server software and if you are set to use client accounts or anonymous access.
Check the vsftp man pages, and online pages like https://www.centos.org/docs/5/html/5...f-opt-log.html. vsftp can be set to build two or three logs files (or as few as none) and should log the information you want, though you may have to parse two files to put together the entire picture.
FYI: is use transfer logging to a single file, but do not need the transfer speeds. I have not verified that all the information you want is logged.
