Samba PDC

Hello Linux User's

After I've tried to finished installing Samba PDC for our 10 Windows xp clients I've noticed something.

From the Samba PDC under /home/profiles/user1/Desktop
(user1 is my 1st testlogin and user)

I've tried to add a file named welcome.conf on the desktop but when I checked to the windows xp it doesent appear.
I've tried to restart it and then it appear exactly the way I wanted.
I tried to delete the file from the windows xp and when i restarted it in appears back.

It won't. Profiles get synchronised at logon and logoff, not in realtime. You want folder redirection for that.

See above: this is normal.

Maybe check the permissions on the file. Windows profiles are a pain though. It could just be Windows being annoying...
