Question RHEL required lib(s) that can't be located

I am trying to get a new server up and running, on RHEL 7.9
I downloaded ckermit-8.0.209-9.x86_64 from RedHat site and attempted to install using YUM. Several dependencies could not be resolved and I can't locate the libs to install. The missing libs are:
libkrb4.so.2() (64bit)
libssl.so.4() (64bit)
libdes425.so.3() (64bit)
libtermcap.so.2() (64bit)
libcrypto.so.4() (64bit)
I am sure these are buried with larger library distributions, I just don't know which ones.

thanks
rod

Are you subscribed to the Red Hat repositories? Since you're using RHEL, you should be able to register your server with your license easily. And you can find out which package they're in by using "yum provides <filename>"...which will work if you're subscribed.

Wrong package. Don't download packages from a site, install them with yum. ckermit is provided by EPEL 7, and at a newer version as well:
Code:
$ yum list ckermit
Available Packages
ckermit.x86_64  9.0.302-7.el7  epel
Try
Code:
subscription-manager repos \
  --enable rhel-*-optional-rpms \
  --enable rhel-*-extras-rpms \
  --enable rhel-ha-for-rhel-*-server-rpms
yum install https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm
yum install ckermit

Smile Got it - thanks

Thanks guys, for the assist.
My system is registered and I am subscribed to support, and I can get into the Fedora repo.
For some reason, the installation of the direct link Shruggy gave me didn't stick.
Regardless, after messing around for a couple hours, I was able to download the .rpm from Fedora and install it. It seems to run just fine.

Thanks again,

rod

In that case you might want to mark the thread solved.
Next time you need to post the error messages you got (and also what did you try exactly). The official repo should work perfectly.
