It is unclear what you are asking; is the printer one which has an ethernet interface (and for some reason, you have decided that any solution that uses ethernet but that does not use tcp/ip is unnacceptable to you, not that that is necessarily important) and is not attached to a particular print-server computer (in which case why is this in 'server'?) or is it a printer attached to a server (in which case I understand why you have chosen 'server' for this thread) and you have decided that you need to communicate with the server via tcp/ip?
Anyway, as already has been stated, you'll need cups; you may want to look at some of the 'cups' thread on this very site for more info. If you have more questions, you'll probably have to be more specific about your set-up in order to get good answers.
