Radius client rebooting issue

Hi!

I am a newbie in Linux. I recently install Radius server and also create a client.
When I reboot the client pc, it sometimes failed to connect with Radius server. When I restart the radius service, the client pc connects. What is the solution. I am using centos 7 as Radius server and Ubuntu LTS core 20 as client machine.

What errors are you seeing in the logs? It could be that the networking service is not yet up when the radius service first tries to connect. The logs will help narrow the issue down.

You probably did not enable it on boot. The incantation is

systemctl enable SERVICE
systemctl start SERVICE

where service usually radiusd.service

You can run
systemctl | grep radius
to see if the script are installed.

To get the status

systemctl status radiusd.service
