My workstation is run under Slackware 13.0
I`ve installed the mail server based on pack, provided by qmailrocks.org :
qmail+vpopmail+vqadmin+spamassassin+clamav+courierpassd+courier-imap+courier-ssl
At first the problem was with clamav-0.95, qmailqueue.pl told, that it was unrecognized.
Code:

falling back to supplied clamav 0.87 help to solve the "qq temporary problem"
In current state e-mail client says, that everything is good and mail is delivered (Mozilla Thunderbird), but mail recievers get no mail and cannot send anything to my server. The mail to my server is sent normally, but the incoming folders are empty

qmailctl shows 3 messages stuck in a queue and logs say:

Any guesses about that?
what about the ownership of the queue folders??
this aspect of qmail is particularly easy to break....as i have found in the past..
This *could* be the problem..
Have a look at http://qmail.jms1.net/scripts/qfixq.shtml

qmail directory permissions are still broken...and the messages in the queue have wrong owner too....
did you follow that link i gave you..?? you do have to stop the qmail queue - bring down all the qmail services *before* running it.....
it takes a while too.....but that was the only way i could fix my qmail directories and permissions when the exact thing happened to me...
if this isnt working for you, then you have to stop qmail, remove your queue completely, and create a new queue by doing "make setup check" from the qmail source directory, and then restart qmail.
of course this last part means losing everything in the queue....
after i followed your advice, i have received "qq temporary problem 4.3.0" .. making the 777 perms made my e-mail-client send messages.. though they are stuck in a queue
715 qmailctl stop
716 ./qfixq
717 ./qfixq live empty
718 qmailctl start

Yeah, those were perms.
I managed to install the qmail server, but only on a "virgin" OS installation. The most unpleasant moments were installation and testing spamd (it failed on spamc.t) and permissions in qmail dirs. qfixq doesn`t solve the problem (in my case it has messed up the results of my efforts). Fresh and thorough installation is the only way i could get all this stuff working. Thx for your help.
