problem with mounting volume after booting system using gluster

Hi everybody

i setup gluster on two systems (server A and server B) and i have this problem:

when both systems are shutdown and when i turn only one of theme on , i cant mount my volume until the second system turns on and after second system turns on even if i turn it off no problem happens which is normal. its looks like that second system should at least show up once to gluster start functioning .

so is this behavior of gluster normal or there is something wrong ?
im using ubuntu server 14.04 with gluster version "glusterfs 3.6.2"

While I am not familiar with gluster, most file systems have the ability to cache a certain amount of data in RAM until the drive is accessible, however the drive must be mounted first. So you must have the drive available for the initial mount in the first place for it to register for RAM fail over. This is why you can turn it off and on again after the initial mount is in place.
