Problem with apache and accented letters

Hi all,

I've problem with pages with non standard characters (like ò à è and so on).
It depend on html code or httpd.conf (or both)?
In some virtual hosts I've "charset=iso-8859-1" (in html pages), it's the default for apache too, right?

Thank you in advance

Special characters

Hi there.
You might find the answer elsewhere but I found Textpad very useful. It shows what code you can use instead of the character. It's like ò is ò and à is à

Hi Odinn,

setting AddDefaultCharset Off in apache2.conf solved my problem!
