PHP, Curl, Ubuntu... Please Help :)

Hi,

This is my first thread, so before I start - Hi everyone - looking forward to being part of the community. I'll try to give back by answering questions in the programming section whenever I ask stuff here

Okay, so here's my issue:

I have a VPS, with PHP installed, and it's working great. However, when I try to use Curl functions, it gives me

Code:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in ***** on line 4

So I found out that I need to install Curl. This, I have no idea how to do.

I have tried using

sudo apt-get install php5-curl

, adding extension=curl.so to php.ini, and restarting Apache, but I get NOTHING.

Can someone help me? I've searched for a long time online and found NO answers. Thanks so much!

P.S. Is this the right forum for this?

compile your php source --with-curl option

start with post phpinfo from your vps. it will help us help you.
