No /etc/postfix/generic???


We have Postfix 2.5.5-1 running but there is no /etc/postfix/generic, what package am I missing?

Most likely the default installation of postfix on whatever version of linux you're using isn't setup to use it out of the box. Check your configuration files and see if you see a line referencing it. The line would start with smtp_generic_maps or it may be pulling the information from another location or not have it setup at all. You can easily just create the file. If you need to know specific structure or format check out the man page for the file.
