NFS connectivity between Linux server and Solaris client machines

I have shared two folders in linux box as follows:-
/var/stellent/consumer/weblayout
/var/stellent/consumer/vault
And i started the nfs and portmapper services.
All daemons are running.
But in solaris client, when we are trying to access the shared directory from solaris box to linux box we are facing "RPC: Rpcbind failure - RPC: Timed out".

To check the shared resources we gave showmount -e <<linuxservername/ip>> when we executed this command, we observed the below error.
bash-2.05# showmount -e 195.232.192.245
showmount: 195.232.192.245: RPC: Rpcbind failure - RPC: Timed out

But both boxes are in different network.
Linux IP : 195.232.192.245
Solaris IP : 10.144.16.162
Please let me know any other steps needs to be done

Please help me to fix this issue.
