Smile New SFTP server

Hi All,

I have deployed one sftp server with chroot on CentOS release 6.3 with the help of below link.

http://www.serveridol.com/2012/03/10...e-sftp-server/

but i have issue that user login in his sftp account, user can't create/upload the folder & file.

Then I have given the permission to user with below command.
chmod -R o+w /home/chroot/home/username

After that i have tried to login sftp with the same user and then got the error (not able to login with the same user on sftp) which mention below.

Error: Network error: Software caused connection abort
Error: Could not connect to server

Please help me how i can given the permission to user to create/upload the files and folders in his account.

Please help to me to resolve this issue...

Thanks,
shailu

The link that you posted comes to a page not found error.

I know on our SFTP servers we have to make directories in the chroot that the user owns. Then they can upload to those locations.

We then use ACLs to allow admins to see into those folders and do what they need to with the data that has been uploaded.
