Nagios monitoring for raid array driver fails

Hi ,

I have setup nfs in a centos 6.5 server with raid (hardware) and mounted the filesystem after exporting the nfs share. I configured with snmp checks for filesyste, mem,cpu etc.. in nagios. Basically , it checks only the mount points not raid array. Even if the raid kick off , it will still show the volume. So is there a way to monitor raid array where it in good and not. I think thre should be a plugin for nagios.

Any help would be highly appreciated!
Thanks

There probably is.

You may find that your hardware vendor provides SNMP extensions that allow you to monitor this. Certainly with HP Proliant servers there's a whole load of monitoring tools including ones to monitor the physical status of individual disks.
