Hi and soory if this topic are in the wrong place.

I'm trying to install rtorrent/rutorrent on a dedi server running centos 6.5 64bit.
So i need to install/enable the mod_scgi, but how. I cant find out how i tried for several days now. I tried to do a rpm –ivh http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel...el5.x86_64.rpm, but then i get this:
error: Failed dependencies:
python(abi) = 2.4 is needed by mod_scgi-1.13-1.el5.x86_64

please help

.. Which is wrong : "/pub/epel/5/" is CentOS 5, not CentOS 6.

Right is : # rpm -Uvh http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel...6-8.noarch.rpm

Yes it might be right but that don't give me the mod_scgi package, which only is available for CentOS 5.
So does anybody else have any idea of how to install mod_scgi on centos 6.5 x64 ?

# 3 .

There is an EL6 package for CentOS 6.x in the
"suse/repositories/home:/entrouvert:/cg14/RedHat_RHEL-6" repo :
http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...RHEL-6/x86_64/
→ →
baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories//home:/entrouvert:/cg14/RedHat_RHEL-6/
,,, ref. http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...RedHat_RHEL-6/
... which also includes the source package mod_scgi-1.13-6.2.src.rpm ,
... if you want to build a new package : $ rpmbuild -bb mod_scgi.spec
