I'd check your syslog and mail log files for any errors. For the exact location of those files, see your /etc/syslog.conf file and/or /etc/syslog.d directory.
If nothing jumps out at you, but a restart of the affected services clears the problem, maybe you should consider a cron job to restart those services once a day.
P.S: Without citing examples of the errors you are seeing (like log output or direct symptoms), this is about as much help as I can offer.
You can start with tail /var/log/mail.err (or whatever is you maillog error file) and check what errors you got. If you know when mailserver "died" you can grep that time from maillogs and syslogs and inspect what happened.
Does your server stop responding completely or is it just http and mail which isn't working?
Can't give you exact information because information you gave us is somewhat limited.
As said before, look in the logfiles.
Also you need to give more info.
You can use
Code:
top
and
Code:
ntop
to check the system load and the network load.
Is the server working correctly, as you have several other threads regarding this problem.
I would suggest to start from the beginning and solve the problems one by one.
If you want to set up qmail, it is best to use the Life with qmail document. It explains how to set up qmail and trouble shoot it in detail.
You may find it easier to use Postfix. If you choose to use Postfix, I would recommend starting off with a basic configuration. You can add features once you get the basic configuration working.

You can not demand people here to solve your problem because this is a forum, members are helping others. if you need any urgent helps, please recruit a right person or hire consultant.
