lsyncd -direct from local filesystem to a mounted cifs share


Dear LQ,

I am trying to synchronize a local filesystem directory to a mounted windows share, I run into permission errors. Please advise.

Seems you need to check the owner ship and permissions of /mnt/ftp-echanges/legislatives2021/

Well done evo2. It was a problem of insufficient privileges on the active directory user which did not have write access to that directory.
