HAI,
usually apache log will be in /var/log/httpd/error_log or access.log. As you qouted, did you removed the log file?(error_log or access_log).
1.Check the file owner must be root.
2.type syslogd===This will start writing the logs to the file , which you creatd for writing logs.
ALL the best.

Thats right, it;s usually located in /var/log/httpd/
Since i've moved the destination it doesn't works anymore. I have take a look at the new destination folder, it only generate access_log , and several files with 0 bytes

How to recreate the apache httpd log files & back in normal again.?

Good,
If you wish to make log files as normal ..
create httpd directory under /var/log/
inside httpd you need to create files..
touch access_log
touch error_log
then check the attributes of files..It must be like this
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1148 May 28 08:15 access_log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1720 May 28 08:31 error_log
then go for command "syslogd". and restart apache server.

Note:check your httpd.conf for ErrorLog and AccessLog, i mean it must be /log/error_log) if you follow the above steps.
